When searching for a model, I couldn’t find the right one that I liked with plenty of pieces. Eventually, I decided on the Arc de Triomphe model, and I also decided on wood pieces instead of plastic pieces. However, when I opened the package I realized I hadn’t fully understood how many pieces there actually were in the box when I bought it. There were a ton! Additionally, all the pieces were small. I didn’t know where to start but then I decided to take the connector parts and use them to make a frame. After doing that I really liked the structure and I had an idea to make a cliff house structure. Thus, I continued to place the actually small pieces of the model to frame and slowly the cliff house structure came together. However, I ran into another issue when I ran out of enough big pieces to fill the gaps of the frame so I decide to cut pieces of the instructions and glue/tape them to the frame. I finally came to a final structure that I am really satisfied with and definitely went through a journey to get there.
Fun Story: The explorer rounds the bend and comes across this before structure that is hanging off the cliff over the great Atlantic Ocean. The explorer has finally found lost tribal temple of the extinct Iceland natives, legend has it that during a great thunderous earthquake the ocean swallowed it whole. For over the next three years this explorer lived in and examined how the structure was built but could find no evidence of how the primitive natives were able to build such a thing…maybe the old legend is true…maybe it truly was a gift from God.
